Michael Murray is a bilingual English/French, Emmy and Murrow Award-winning manager and producer with over 20 years of experience in digital and traditional content production, management, distribution, and marketing for top national and international outlets.

Murray is currently a content specialist working at Meta. In that role he collaborates with product, policy and engineering teams to guide product content strategy on Instagram, Facebook and Threads.

Murray's production credits include Good Morning America, World News Tonight, ESPN and ABC affiliates across the country, as well as international partners NHK, Fuji, Al Jazeera, and BBC News. He has covered every type of story, from science to entertainment, politics and breaking news.

During his tenure at ABC News, Murray led the network affiliate and client coverage for the Western U.S. and Asia under the "NewsOne" affiliate division. He increased the content produced by this division several-fold and launched many initiatives. This included combining radio, digital and affiliate interview and coverage opportunities that created new content and revenue streams. 

Murray has extensive experience managing teams of editors, producers and content creators for national and international coverage. He has a proven ability to identify emerging trends and cultural storylines ahead of the curve, resulting in strategic coverage. In addition, Murray possesses experience shooting, producing and editing in a variety of environments. 

From 2021 to 2023, Murray founded and oversaw a project aimed at creating a blockchain-based archive of verified video. The project sought to create new revenue streams and protect against deepfakes and AI manipulated media. Murray collaborated with a cross-divisional team from ABC News, National Geographic, and Disney Consumer Products to plan the project.

Murray is also dedicated to mentoring, training, and tracking staff performance. He recommends actionable improvements to workflows based on performance and new technology. 

Murray is a certified blockchain business applications expert and possesses U.S., French, and British citizenship. He has global work experience and is fluent in French and English.
